
Annual Dinner, Saturday, June 5, 2010
This year’s Annual Dinner features Dr. Dana Brooks, Professor and Dean, College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at WVU. The dinner will be held Saturday evening, June 5, 2010 at Vincenzo’s Ristorante Italiano located at 11525 Chester Road in Sharonville, OH.
Dr. Brooks is Professor and Dean of the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences at West Virginia University
. He received his A.A. Degree (1971) from Hagerstown Junior College, B.S. from Towson State University (1973) and M.S. (1976) and Ed.D. (1979) from West Virginia University. He has published and presented nationally and internationally in the areas of sport sociology and sport social psychology.
A cash bar and appetizer cocktail reception will begin at 6:00pm followed by dinner at 7:15pm. The dinner includes your choice of Cheese Ravioli Marinara (vegetarian selection), da Vincenzo chicken (chicken with artichoke hearts, asparagus, mushrooms and mozzarella in a white wine sauce with penne pasta), or Salmon con Farfalle e Gamberetti (Salmon filet, with rock shrimp, asparagus and diced tomato in a light alfredo sauce).
The cost to attend this event will be $40 per person or $75 per couple for non-dues paying members and $35 per person or $60 per couple for dues-paying members. Please send in your order form and check by May 28, 2010

Bowling for Autism: June 12
John Thornton, WVU great and former Cincinnati Bengal will be holding his annual Bowling for Autism event on Saturday, June 12th at Princeton Bowl in Sharonville. We would like to form a few teams to help Big John with this great cause. The price to attend is $250/lane (or $50 each for a team of 5). racing at River Downs on Sunday, July 11, 2010. First race is around 1pm. River Downs is located at 6301 Kellogg Avenue near Coney Island and Riverbend on the Ohio River.

Chapter Membership
Each Chapter of the WVU Alumni Association is its own non-profit organization run by volunteers and funded by the dues of its members. Your dues to the Cincinnati/Dayton Chapter help to defray the cost of our mailings and to support local activities sponsored by the Chapter. In addition, Chapter Members occasionally receive discounts or free admission to Chapter Events. The Chapter does not receive any funding from the WVU Alumni Association other than one mass mailing per year.
Please support the Cincinnati/Dayton Chapter by paying dues of $15 per individual or $20 per family. Please complete the Membership Form and send it, along with a check, to the address listed on the form.
